  Tonawanda News 27 January 1981 GOERSS-Hubert C. Goerss, 86, of the Town of Wheatfield, Sunday (January 25, 1981) at the Niagara Lutheran Home, Buffalo, Erie County, NY, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Goerss was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield and member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. He was the husband of the late Ella (nee Sattelberg) Goerss who died in 1969. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, Monday 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 10:30 A.M., the Rev. William P. Hennessy will officiate. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church or the Niagara Lutheran Home
