ACTIVE CHURCH WORKER DIES AT SERVICES
NORTH TONAWANDA - Benjamin G. Sattelberg, 54, of 100 Old Niagara Falls Boulevard, died unexpectedly Sunday evening (April 29, 1962) after suffering a heart attack at St. Martin Lutheran Church. A lifelong resident of this city, Mr. Sattelberg was employed for the last 23 years as a sales representative for the Block Radio and Television Co. He was a member of St. Martin Church and of its brotherhood, of which he was a past officer. He served as organist for the church for many years and was assistant organist at his death. Mr. Sattelberg also was a former teacher in the church Sunday school and was chairman of the church stewardship committee and a member of its building committee. In 1954, he was elected a member of the stewardship committee of the Eastern District, American Lutheran Church, and served for two terms. He was a member of the Lions Club of the Tonawandas. Surviving are his widow, Adelaide E. Thiele Sattelberg; a son, Ronald E. Sattelberg; a grandson, Jonathan Sattelberg, both of Webster; and his stepmother, Mrs. Ella Sattelberg, this city. Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. Luther L. Knauff, pastor of St. Martin Church. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park.
