Y, Feb. 27 —A lovely winter wedding was solemnized on Saturday, February 9. at 7 p. m. in S t John's Lutheran church, St. Johnsburg, N. Y.. when Miss Jane E Pankow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Pankow, Route 2, North tonawanda, became the bride of mr. Harold H. Heuer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Heuer, Route 1, Niagara Falls. The Rev. J. W. Thiemecke officiated. During the ceremony Mrs. J. W. Thiemecke sang, "Because," and the -Twenty-third Psalm" Howard Rowsell played the organ. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a gown of white brocaded satin, scalloped neckline with beaded trimming and full skirt forming s long train. She wore a fingertip veil with lace edging, falling from a crown of beaded orange blossoms. She carried a colonial bouquet of white rosea. Mrs. Clarence Heuer was her sister's matron of honor wearing a yellow gown combining a taffeta bodice and full net skirt and wearing a headdress of yellow horsehair flowers. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses Mrs. Harold Pankow, sister-in-law of the bride..and Miss Lydia Heuer. sister of the groom, were the bridesmaids, wearing gown.- similar to that of the matron of honor, pink end blue respectively. They also ried colonial bouquets of pink roses. Mr. Clarence Heuer was his bro- ther's best msn and the ushers were Mr. Harold Pankow and Mr James Heuer. A wedding reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Bergholtz Community hall for 150 guests. Covers were laid for 23 and the bride's table which was centered with a four-tiered wedding cake decorated with a miniature bride and groom. The brides mother chose a dress of oiark crepe trimmed in white and the groom's mother wore a dies of green. Both wore corsages of pink roses. Mr. and Mrs. Heuer left for a short wedding trip to Washington. D C .the bride wearing a grey dress with brown accessories.

  April 18, 2011 Jane E. Heuer Niagara Gazette WHEATFIELD — Jane E. Heuer (Pankow), age 84, of Wheatfield, was called, peacefully, to her heavenly home on April 18, 2011, at her residence. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on January 31, 1926 to the late William and Charlotte (McGill) Pankow. She was a 1944 graduate of North Tonawanda High School, a lifelong member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, was a loving and devoted mother, and enjoyed cooking. Survivors include four children, Curtis (Jeanne) Heuer, Mary (Henry) Striewing, Mark (Minerva) Heuer and Steven (Ann) Heuer; five grandchildren, Nathan Heuer, Michael and Matthew Striewing, Virginia Kahmann and Jonathan Heuer; a great-granddaughter, Briahnna Lynn and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Harold H. Heuer on August 29, 2010; four brothers, George, Vernon, Wallace and Harold Pankow; and two sisters, Josephine Moll and Lorena Heuer. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service, officiated by the Rev. Ronald Oravec, on Thursday at 4:00 PM in St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements were by the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME.
