 HASSAN - Leonard J., age 68, 2288 Cayuga Dr. Extension, in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Niagara Falls, N.Y. Former employee of Union Carbide & Bergholtz Fire Co. Survived by his wife Ruth (nee DuBois) Hassan; four daughters, Mrs. Willis (Lois) Retzlaff of Sanborn. Mrs. Edwin (Joan) Fehewez(sic), Mrs. George (Betty Lou) Lozina. Mrs. Ronald (Sally) Archer, all of Niagara Falls; 2 sisters. Mrs. Ralph (Mary) Smith of Phillipsburg, N.J., Mrs. Marvin (Agnes) Bugenhagen of Sanborn; 3 brothers, John Hassan of Reynoldsville, Pa, Joseph Hassan, of Hinsdale, N.Y., Daniel Hassan of Grand Island. Survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral from the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Wednesday at 1:30 with Rev. Ralph Buchmann officiating. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired Memorials may be made to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Building Fund. The Bergholtz Fire Co. will meet at Company Headquarters at 7 p.m. then proceed to Funeral Home to pay last respects.
