Ronald C. Archer, Longtime Plumbers Union Worker
BERGHOLZ - Ronald C. Archer, 52, of Sylvan Place, died Thursday (Dec. 10. 1992) at his residence after a lengthy illness. The native of Niagara Falls was born on Feb. 17, 1940 to Leonora "Lou" (Ecker) Archer of Tonawanda and Howard Archer, now deceased. Archer worked for the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 129 since 1958 and belonged to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz. Besides his mother. he is survived by his wife. Sally P. (Hassan) Archer of Bergholz; two sons. Sean Archer. U.S. Navy. Groton. Conn. and Ian Archer of Bergholz; a brother. Anthony Hahn II of Amherst; four sisters. Elaine Masman of Kenmore. Sharron Goffin of Lockport, Marilyn Wolfe of East Amherst and Donna Lavin of Tonawanda; his stepfather. Anthony Hahn of Tonawanda; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Dubois Funeral Home. 2436 Niagara Road. Bergholz. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz, with the Rev. Pl1ilip N. Sallach officiating. Burial in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. Wheatfield. Memorials may be made to a charity of one' s choice.
