  Niagara Gazette SANBORN-C. Donald Bower, Emporium, Pa., formerly of Sanborn, was killed instantly Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 26, 1958) when the truck in which he was riding collided with a fast passenger train near Emporium. Mr. Bower was born Feb. 25, 1909, in the Town of Cambria, the son of Mr. and Mrs. H, Lyle Bower, West St., who survive. Mr. Bower also is survived by his wife, Alice Stewart Bower; a son, John C h a r l e s Bower, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Smith, Waterloo, N, Y., and Mrs. Dorothy Frecce, A u b u r n ; a sister, Mrs. Jean Gow, Ridgewood; and a brother, Robert Bower, Sanborn. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at Emporium.
