St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz was the
setting at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon for the wedding
of Miss Ruth Ann Wolf and Robert Allan Klopfer.
The Rev. Robert Lehman officiated
at the double ring cere-
mony uniting the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Wolf of
Schultz Street, and the son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Klopfer of
Cayuga Street, Bergholz.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father. She was
gowned in gardenia white peau
satin with scoop nekcline in cut
out Venice lace scattered with
pearls and sequins and long ta-
pered sleeves. A fitted elongated
bodice with gathered bouffant
skirt fell into a chapel train scat-
tered with lace motifs caught at
the back with a butterfly bow
and streamers.
A coronet of seed pearls and
crystals held her bouffant four-
tiered veil of English silk illu-
sion. Her flowers were a cas-
cade bouquet of white roses.
Miss Helen Wolf served her
sister as maid of honor wearing
a powder blue crystal back peau
satin with a ballet length demi-
sheath skirt and a floor-length
overskirt which caught with self
fabric bow and streamers. Her
headpiece was Lucerne blue
hand rolled petals and a mo-
line veil. She carried a cascade
bouquet of powder blue mums
and Lucerne blue pompons.
The bridesmaids Miss Linda
Hanes, Miss Linda Wolf, sister
of the bride, and Miss Lonnie
Master, cousin of the bride, wore
the same style gown in Lucerne
blue with a powder blue head-
piece in the same style. They
carried cascade bouquets of pow-
der blue mums and pompons.
The flowergirl, Miss Susan
Wolk, cousin of the bride, wore
the same style gown in powder
bllue and her headpiece was a
powder blue veil and bow. She
carried a basket of light and Lu-
cerne blue pompons.
Glenn Klopfer was best man
for his brother. Robert Mueller,
William Fuerch and David Mil-
ler were ushers.
The bride's mother wore a
champagne brocade sheath
dress, with Chanel matching
jacket; the bridegroom's mother
wore a blue dress. Both moer-
ers wore red rose corsages.
After a reception at the Berg-
holz Fire Hall, Mr. and Mrs.
Klopfer will leave for a motor
trip through New York, Pennsyl-
vania and Ohio. They will reside
at 2430 Cayuga St., Bergholz.
