  ROY R. SCHROEDER Of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on  Sunday, April 16, 2023, at his home.  He was born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on June 2, 1928, a son of the late Edward and  Ella [Hoffmeister] Schroeder. Mr. Schroeder served with the US Army from 1955 to 1957. He was employed with the Town of Wheatfield Highway Department for over 25 years, retiring in 1989. Mr. Schroeder enjoyed classic cars, antiques, riding his Harley and traveling. He is survived by two nephews Ronald and Donald Schroeder, his dear friend Carole Kincaid and her daughter Natalie (Erick Underwood) Borga, also many cousins  and friends. He was the brother of the late Robert Schroeder. His family will be present on Friday from 12-1:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with the Rev. Michael Borgstede officiating. Interment with Military Honors in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
