- Paul E. Wendt, age 74 of Sanborn, NY, entered into rest on May 21, 2024 at his residence, while under the care of his loving wife, and Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 9, 1949; son of the late Edmund and H. Jane (McCollum) Wendt. Paul was employed at General Motors, until his retirement, and than became the owner of DN Remodeling. He enjoyed Nascar, fishing, hunting, and the quality time spent with his family. Survivors include his wife, Robin (Reitz) Wendt. They were married November 5, 1983; four children, Cori Flores of Owatonna, MN, Raymond Wendt of Lockport, NY, Liza (Nick) Reinhardt of Lockport, NY, and Andrew (Elizabeth) Wendt of Cincinnati, OH; a brother, Daniel (Shelley) Wendt of Jamestown, NY; a sister, Marlene (Conrad) Janik of Lockport, NY; four grandchildren, Joseph Flores, Emily Wendt, Amanda Clarkson, and Alexander Wendt; and a great-grandson, Joseph Flores.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Tuesday (May 28) from 4-7 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael A. Keicher, on Wednesday (May 29) at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Park.
