  16 September 1944 Tonawanda News Mrs. Wilhelmina Proefrock Mrs. Wilhelmina Proefrock, 85, died yesterday afternoon at her home, 44 Stenzel street. Born in Germany, she had resided in North Tonawanda 76 years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Philip Witkop and Mrs. Louise Blank of Walmore and Mrs. Otto Weyers of North Tonawanda; five sons, john of Tonawanda and August, Edward, William and George of North Tonawanda; 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren., and a sister, Mrs. Edward Smith. Rites will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 from the residence and at 2:30 from the St. Mark's Lutheran church. The Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's cemetery.
