  Niagara Gazette - 2/23/1944 BLANK-At his home, on the Tuscarora Road, February 23, 1944. Rudolph Blank, husband of Louise: father of Mrs. Arline Walck. Mrs. Evelyn Walck. Mrs. Josephine Haseley. Eleanor Tubbe and Richard Tubbe. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ALSO Former Highway Official Dies Rudolph Blank, 66, formerly superintendent of highways for the Town of Niagara for 20 years, died early today at the family home, Tuscarora road, after a long period of ill health. The funeral plans have not been completed. Mr. Blank was born in Germany, a son of the late William and Fredericka , Blank, and came to this country with his parents when he was only four years old. They settled near Alabama in Orleans county but shortly afterward removed to the Tuscarora road area in Niagara county, where he had resided since, Mr. Blank was well known throughout this section, having conducted a farming implement sales business for many years in addition to being a successful farmer. He was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore, N. Y., and its various organizations. Mr. Blank is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Blank, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Arline Walck, of Sanborn, N. Y., Mrs. Evelyn Walck, of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Josephine Haseley, of Sanborn, N. Y., and Eleanor Tubbe, at home; one son, Richard Tubbe, at home; three brothers, John, of Sanborn, William, of Gasport, N. Y., and Gustave Blank, of Niagara Falls, and four grandchildren.
