  Tonawanda News - 8/6/1987 William H. Proefrock, 94, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday (August 5, 1987) in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility. Mr. Proefrock was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and a former superintendent of the Sunday School, the American Legion Post #264. He was a former postal carrier with the North Tonawanda Post Office. He was the husbamd of the late Auguste Proefrock, who died in 1970. He is survived by a daughter, Dorothy V. Pettit and a son, Roger W. (Jane) Proefrock, both of North Tonawanda. Eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Frettold Funeral Homes, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda. Friday 7-9 P.M. and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m.from St. Mark Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norbert Folwaczny will officiate. Interment St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
