June C. Proefrock (nee Fifield), age 86, of North Tonawanda, passed peacefully, Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Niagara Hospice House after a brief illness. June enjoyed her family and her woman's club, she was an avid reader and loved to paint. June was a long-time member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
She was the wife of the late Robert "Butch" Proefrock. Beloved mother of Dennis (Linda) Proefrock and Carol (Kevin) Siverson, both of North Tonawanda; grandmother of SSG Jason (Angelina) Proefrock, Ariel and Megan Siverson, David (Wendy) Werth, Marc (Becky) Werth, Justin (Jennifer) Schultz and Eric Schultz; great-grandmother of Aiden, Whitney, David, Sheridan, Dylan, Summer, Austin, Kaitlynne, Lillian and Dominyc; beloved aunt many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM from St. Mark Lutheran Church. The Rev. Keith Knupp will officiate. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery.
