Proefrock - Ernest F. Proefrock, 85, of the Town of Wheatfield, suddenly Sunday (December 3, 1982). Mr. Proefrock was a member of the Town of Wheatfield Senior Citizens and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Mr. Proefrock was the husband of the late Florence Proefrock who died in 1971.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Geraldine) Pukajlo; a son, Allen E. (Ruth) Proefrock, both of North Tonawanda; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eckhardt (Edna) Proefrock of the Town of Wheatfield and Howard (Florence) Proefrock of California; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Sitzmann of California; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening from 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p..m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Richard E. Pape will officiate. Interment in the St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.
