  Tonawanda News, jul 26, 1939 ERNEST Z. PHILLIPS Ernest Z. Phillips, 48, of 04 Fredericks street, died yesterday afternoon at the Meyer Memorial hospital, Buffalo, after a brief illness. He was born in California. For the past 18 years he had been a resident of North Tonawanda. He was attached to the Aviation Corps, U.S.A., during the World War. Surviving are a wife, Emma, nee Hoffmeister, a son, Richard E. and two daughters, Shirley R. and Patricia M. at home. Rites will be held Friday afternoon at 2:10 from the residence. Burial will be in St. Mark's cemetery.
