Mrs. Matilda Gombert, 71, died
this morning at her home, 385
Miller street. Born in the town of
Wheatfield, she had resided in
North Tonawanda the past 50
years. She was. a charter member
of the St. Matthew's church on
Wheatfield street and of the Lad-
ies' AM society of the church. She
is survived by three sons, Arnold
E., Andrew W. and David W.;
five grandchildren and a sister,
Mrs. Justine Stolzenburg, all of
North Tonawanda. Rites will be
held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock
at the residence and at 2:30 from
the St. Matthew's church. The
Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate.
Burial will be In St. Matthew's
cemetery.
