A foreman at Harrison Radiator
Division of General Motors Corporation
and former captain of the
South Lockport Fire Company,
Allen Edgar Beccue, 31, of the
Bowmiller Road. Town of Lockport,
died Tuesday aftvnoon in Lockport
City Hospital, where he recently
underwent an operation.
Surviving are ris wife, Rhenia
Dec. 26, 1913, and attended the old
Hawley Street School. He was a
lifelong member of the St. Peter's:
Evangelical Church.
For 11 years Mr. Beccue had been
employed at the Harrison plant,
where he was forman of Department
47 and a member of the 0-9
Foremen's Club. When the South
Lockport Fire Department was organized
a few years ago, he was
the first captain.
Mr. Beccue was born in Lockport,
Campbell Beccue; a daughter,
Marcia Eileen Beccue; two sons,
Wayne Allen and Kent Edgar Beccue;
his mother, Mrs. Otto Beccue,
all of Lockport: two brothers, Karl
Beccue, Buffalo, and Clay Beccue,
aad a sister, Naomi Beccue, both of
Lockport.
Members of the South Lockport
Fire Company will meet tomorrow
evening at 8 o'clock at the fire hall
and proceed in1 a body to the
Clemens O. Gaul Funeral home, 263
East Ave., to pay their respects.
Services will be held at the
funeral home Friday at 2:30. Burial
will be in Cold Springs Cemetery
