Otto W. Schimschack
Otto W. Schimschack, 62, of 304 Stenzil St., died this morning in the DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. A native of Bergholtz, he retired three years ago as a tavern and restaurant keeper at Pekin, N. Y. He was in business at Pekin for 12 years. Prior to that he was employed for 32 years by the Aluminum Company of America, Niagara Falls. He was a member of the companys 25-Year-Club. He was also a member of the Pekin Fire Department and the St. Pauls Evangelical and Lutheran Church on East Felton St. He was a deacon of the church at the time of his death. He was also a former trustee of the church. Surviving are his wife, Ella, nee Broecker; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Tomm and Mrs. Edgar Milke of Pekin; two sons, Alfred O. of Newfane and Robert C. of Pekin; four grandchildren, four brothers, Herman and William R. of Bergholtz, Fred of St. Johnsburg, and Ferdinand of Lockport. Last rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the residence and at 2:30 p.m. from the St. Pauls Church. The Rev. Leonard Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn.
