  Obituary from Tonawanda News GOERSS Anton Friedrich Goerss, 86, of 1088 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, Monday, (Sept. 23, 1963) after a long illness. Beloved brother of Miss Charlotte Goerss, Miss Sophia Goerss and Hubert Goerss, all of North Tonawanda; uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends received at the residence where prayers will be said Thursday, Sept. 26, at 1:30 p.m. followed by services in St. James Lutheran Church, the Rev. Robert Lehman officiating. Interment in St. James Cemetery. Mr. Goerss was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and of the Bergholz Fire Co, Arrangements by the Brunner Funeral Home.
