James S. Brady. 72. of 19 Midland
Ave., died unexpectedly to-
day in his home after suffering a
head injury in. a fall on the cel-
lar floor.
Yesterday was Mr. Brady's last
day as a school crossing guard
near the Lincoln School. He for-
merry was a guard at the Thom-
as Edison School for three years.
Mr. Brady was a retired Na-
ional Aniline Chemicals employe
of more than 40 years' service. A
native of Niagara Falls, he resid-
ed in the Town of Tonawanda for
35 years and built one of the first
homes in Midland Ave. He was a
member of Concordia Lodge,
F&AM, a former member of the
Ellwood Volunteer Fire Company,
and a town Republican committeeman.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Elsie Moll, and f o ur
brothers: William H., of Roselle,
N. J.; Arthur P., of Ransomville;
George C, of St. Petersburg, Fla.,
and John A. Brady of 266 Dela-
ware Rd Funeral arrangements
are being completed at the Dohn
Funeral Home.
