- Gerald C. Wolf, age 66, of Wheatfield, entered into rest on October 11, 2008 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born December 27, 1941 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY to Clarence and June (Schmidt) Wolf. A life long member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, he was an exempt member of Bergholz Fire Company, active member and former President of the Buff Social Club, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his mother, June Wolf; long time friend, Sharon Oswald; four children, Mary (Rich Keller) Young, Lori, Dan and Glenn Wolf, all of Niagara Falls; brother, Ronald (Carlene) Wolf and sister, Beverly (Varoujan) Sakalian, both of Wheatfield; five grandchildren, Jessica Williams, Brandon Steinman, James, Richard and Ashley Wolf and several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Clarence.Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Ronald D. Oravec on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church
