  GOERSS - Herbert A. Goerss, 71, of 48 Mitchell Drive, Tonawanda, entered into rest on Thursday (Jan. 13, 1972) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, a veteran of World War I, having served in France and was a lifelong resident of the area. Beloved husband of Lorreta (nee Zeisz) Goerss; brother of Mrs. Benjamin (Elnora) Sprenger of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Elmer Goerss of California. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Creasey Memorial Chapel Inc., 138 Delaware St., Tonawanda, where services will be conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Paul W. Czamanske will officiate. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be sent to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or the March of Dimes.
