NEWFANE-Mr. and Mrs.
Christ Jaenecke, 2720 Transit
Road, will mark their golden
"wedding a n n i v e r s a ry
Wednesday with a- qu i e t
evening at home where, they
live with their son Robert and
his family.
An open house will be held
for them Saturday from 5 to
10 p.m. at the American
Legion Hall, Maple Avenue
here with an approximate 150
guests e x p e c t e d . The
Jaenecke's have another
json, Elwood, North Tonawanda,
and five grandchildren.
They were married in 1919
at St. Peter's L u t h e r an
Church at North Ridge and
have belonged to the Concordia'
Lutheran Church, East
Wilson for the last 38 years.
Mr. Jaenecke born Feb. 19,
1893, was educated in a one
room schoolhouse near here,
and at St. Mathew's Lutheran
Church School and Pinewood
School, N o r t h Tonawanda.
Mrs. Jaenecke, the former
Josephine Zastrow, born July
17, 1898, attended achool at
Molyneaux Corners (also a
one room schoolhouse) and St.
Peter's Lutheran Church
School.
Mr. Jaenecke. has always
been employed as a farmer.
