  of Lockport, NY,   passed away on Sunday, February 11,2018, in Eastern Niagara Hospital,   Lockport, NY.   He was born in North Tonawanda, NY on September 18, 1928, a son of the late Alexander and Cornelia (Wendt) Daigler.   Mr. Daigler was a construction superintendent with Case Boring Company for over 50 years before retiring.    He was a member of the Operating Engineer Local 463 and enjoyed farming and repairing anything that needed  to be fixed.   Mr. Daigler is survived by his wife Beatrice [Werth] Daigler, a son Donald (Penny) Daigler, a grandson Todd (Kristen) Daigler, a brother Dan (JoAnn) Daigler, also many nieces and nephews.    He was the father of the late Edna Daigler and brother of the late Charles and Norma Hayes and Helen Piskor.   His family will be present Wednesday from 1-2 PM at RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road,  SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating.  Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery at North Ridge, Town of Cambria, NY.
