  Notes	Niagara Gazette - 4/4/1940 Miss Eleanor Schultz and Mrs. Paul Bohnstadt entertained at a variety shower in honor of Miss Martha Brandt, a bride-elect, at the home of Miss Schultz on the Townlihe road, Saturday afternoon. The afternoon was pleasantly spent in playing several games with prizes awarded, which were later presented to the guest of honor. At 5 o'clock a delicious dinner was served to 25 guests from a table prettily decorated in yellow and white and centered with a large bowl of spring flowers. The guest of honor received many pretty and useful gifts. Guests were present from Niagara Falls, Lockport, Ransomville, Wilson and this vicinity. Miss Brandt will become the bride of Willard Schultz on Saturday afternoon, April 20, in St. Peter's Lutheran church, North Ridge, the Rev. Carl W. Oldach, pastor of the church, will officate.

  Buffalo News, The (NY) - June 24, 2002 Willard L. Schultz, 86, a longtime vegetable farmer, died Saturday (June 22, 2002) in Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, where he had been a patient since February 2000. Schultz was born in Wilson, attended local schools and lived here all his life. He farmed 58 acres on Irish Road and sold his vegetables at the Clinton-Bailey Farmers' Market in Buffalo. He was a former vice president of the Clinton-Bailey Farmers Market Association and served on its board for 12 years. Schultz served on the board of elders of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, Cambria, where he was a lifelong member. He was a former member of the church's cemetery board. Schultz was also an exempt member of South Wilson Fire Company. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, the former Martha L. Brandt; a son, Randy of Wilson; a brother, Carlton of Newfane; two sisters, Mildred Hurtgam of Niagara Falls and Eleanor Eckert of Burt; and one granddaughter. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Road, Cambria. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria.
