  18 September 1968 Tonawanda News A. F. Strasburg, American Legion Historian, Dies Albert F. Strasburg, 72, of 823 Pasadena Ave., Niagara Falls, historian for the Niagara County American Legion, died yesterday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo. Born in Tonawanda, he retired from the Hooker Chemical Corp. in 1957. He was a World War I veteran and was a charter member and past commander of LaSalle Post 1142, American Legion, and the Disabled American Veterans of Niagara Falls. He also was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls. Husband of Clara Schultz Strasburg, he also is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alfred Milleville of the Town of Wheatfield; six sons, Robert, Donald, William, Richard, Albert Jr., and John, all of Niagara Falls; four brothers and 17 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
