  22 January 1975, Tonawanda News BENZ-Carl D. Benz, 64, of the Town of Wheatfield, Tuesday (Jan.21, 1975) at Roswell Park Memorial Institute after a length illness. Mr. Benz was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, former Elder and Trustee of the church, a member of the Lutheran Layman's League, and former area supervisor of Hooker Chemical Co. He is survived by his wife, Ann (nee) Benz; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Mary Ann) Haseley of the Town of Wheatfield; a son, William N. Benz, at home and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda from 7 to 9 this evening and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Services will be held in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Friday at 10 A.M. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Building Fund
