  E. WINIFRED STRASSBURG - DEC. 19, 1916 -- NOV. 4, 2004 Buffalo News, The (NY) - November 7, 2004 Services for E. Winifred Jamieson Strassburg of North Tonawanda, a retired school cafeteria worker, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in John O. Roth Funeral Home, 25 William St., City of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. The native of Eaganville, Ont., died Thursday in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a long illness. She was 87 and under the care of Niagara Hospice. The former E. Winifred Jamieson lived in the City of Tonawanda most of her life before moving to North Tonawanda 15 years ago. She came to the United States with her family when she was an ...... Mrs. Strassburg was employed in the cafeteria of Tonawanda Senior High School as a cook for 15 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the City of Tonawanda and a member of North Tonawanda Senior Citizens. Her husband of 67 years, Walter F., died last Dec. 28. Survivors include a daughter, Janice Zipp of Wilson; a son, William of the City of Tonawanda; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
