STRASSBURG - Harold K. Strassburg of 358 Miller St., North Tonawanda, Saturday (Dec. 6, 1975) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in the Town of Cambria, he had been a resident of North Tonawanda for 62 years. He had been employed by National Grinding Wheel Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1972. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Air Force. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Wheatfield American Legion Post No. 1451, the Lutheran Layman's League, Dom Polski Club and the United Steelworkers of America, AFL-CIO CLC, Local No. 12419. He was the son of the late John G. Strassburg.
He is survived by his mother, Ella H. Strassburg; two sisters, Edna and Elda Strassburg, all of North Tonawanda; he was the nephew of Mrs. Rachel Van De Water and Mrs. Emma Strassburg.
Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Inc., 5893 Hoover Rd., Sanborn from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., today. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda, with the Rev. A. W. Moldenhauer officiating. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. If preferred, memorials may be made to the St. Matthew Lutheran Church Building Fund.
