STRASSBURG Albert W. Strassburg, 83, of Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn, died Monday (Aug. 6, 1962) in Ransomville. Father of Mrs. Edwin Batt of Niagara Falls. Also survived by one brother, three sisters, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home Inc., Hoover Road, Sanborn. Services will be conducted there at 2 p.m. Wednesday and at 2:30 in St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Pekin, the Rev. L. J. Fitch officiating. Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery.

Retired Carbo Worker Dies
SANBORN - Albert W. Strassburg, 88, of Saunders Settlement Road, died today (Aug. 6, 1962) at Ransomville General Hospital after a brief illness. A former employe of the Carborundum Co. at Niagara Falls, he had been retired for 20 years. He previously worked at the William A. Rogers Co. in Niagara Falls. Born at St. Johnsburg, Jan. 8, 1876. Mr. Strassburg lived in Sanborn for 35 years. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Batt. Niagara Falls, a brother and three sisters in the States of Washington and North Dakota, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Pike & Jones Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday and at 2:30 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin, by Rev. LaVerne J. Fitch. Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.
