  Niagara Gazette - 12/24/1956 R. W. Strasburg, Former LaSalle Merchant, Dies Funeral services were held today at the Lane Funeral Home for Robert W. Strasburg. 69, of 7326 Buffalo Ave., who diid Saturday (Dec. 22, 1956) in Meyer Memorial Hospital, Buffalo. He was born in Sanborn and lived most of his life in the LaSalle section of this city. Prior to his retirement, he operated a grocery store and an automobile agency in LaSalle. He is survived by his wife, Violet; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Becken, ths city,-and Mrs.. John Sciimadebeck, Lewiston; two sons, James Strasburgh, this city, and Allen Strasburg, Canandaigua; and a sister, Miss Mathilde Strassburg, Sanborn. Officiating at today's services was the Rev. Paul J. Hartcnberger, pastor of the- Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Memorial Park'Cemetery.
