  22 January 1941 Evening News of the Tonawandas Mrs. Emma A. Strassburg, 72, a life-long resident of the town of Wheatfield, died last night at her home on the Oderboltz road, near Bergholtz, after a prolonged illness. She was born in St. Johnsburg. Surviving are a husband, William F., two brothers, Edward Schroeder of St. Johnsburg and Louis Schroeder of Devil's Lake, N. D., and two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Zimmer of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Rosa Jagow of St. Johnsburg. Rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam street, and at 2:45 from the Holy Ghost Lutheran church in Bergholtz. Rev. John Kuchenbecker will officiate. Burial will be in the Holy Ghost cemetery.
