SAUQUOIT—Mildred S. Johnson, of 2701 Sulpher Springs Road, died May 13. 1991. at St Luke's Memorial Hospital Center.
She was born January 4. 1908. in Constablevllle. NY. daughter of the late Henry W. and Marion Wynne Schwenk and was educated in Constablevllle schools. She was a Graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing, in the Class of 1929. She married Sidney K. Johnson. January 24. 1942. Mr. Johnson died in 1981.
Mrs. Johnson had been employed as a registered nurse with the Masonic Home Hospital and then with both the old St. Luke's Hospital and the St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center. She was a-member of St George's Episcopal Church. Chadwicks, and the Women of SL George's. She was also a member of the Lucy Kellogg Society and the Sauquoit Valley Community Club.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law. S. Brian and Mary Ellen Johnson, three grandchildren. Heather. Rebekah. and Corey Johnson, all of Whitesboro; three sisters, Helen Taylor, Constablevllle, Frances Evans. Turin, and Loretta Hayes, Constablevllle. NY; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister. Margaret Northam. of Constablevllle.
Services were held Wednesday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m. at St. George's Episcopal Church. Chadwicks. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
