Mrs. Baker Dies; Rites Wednesday
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday for Mrs. Helen L. Baker. 78, of 210 58th St., who died Saturday (Feb.25, 1967) in a Buffalo hospital.
Mrs. Baker, the former Helen Wendt, was born in Sanborn and attended schools in that community. She was a lifelong resident of Western New York and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Her husband was the late, William Henry Baker.
Surviving are a son George W. Baker; this city; a daughter, Mrs. - Jennie B. Young of Ransomville; five sisters, Mrs. Sarah Mehls and Mrs. Albert Pils, both of this city, Mrs. Stanley (Ruth) Specks of Chicago, Mrs. Alexander (Rose) Doan, Niagara Falls, Ont., and Mrs., Irving (Eleanor) Pokelwaldt of Sanborn; two brothers Benjamin Wendt of Sanborn; and Philip Wendt, Bergholtz, and several nieces and nephews. Rev. Arnold W. Schneider of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate at, the 2 p.m. services Wednesday at Grimes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
