Sanborn Native
Dies in Midwest
Edward Wendt, 77, of Jannesville,
Minn., a former area
resident, died Monday (Dec.
19, 1966) in Jannesville after a
short illness.
A native of Sanborn, Mr.
Wendt moved to Minnesota
about 40 years ago. He was a
farmer.
Survivors include- his wife,
Thelma Wendt; a daughter,
Mrs. Art (Marie) Trahms of
Jannesville; six sisters, Mrs.
John (Sarah) Mehls and Mrs.
Albert (Katherine) Pils of this
city; Mrs. William (Helen)
Baker of Buffalo; Mrs. Alec
(Rose) Doan of Niagara Falls,
Ont.; Mrs. Stanley (Ruth)
Speck of Chicago; and Mrs.
Irving (Eleanor) Pokelwaldt of
Sanborn; and two brothers,
Ben Wendt of - Sanborn and
Philip Wendt of Bergholtz.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday in Jannesville. Burial
will also be in Jannesville.
