  14 January 1952 Tonawanda News Herman J. Grawe, 61, of 65 Fredericka St. died suddenly Saturday afternoon while at work at the Buffalo Bolt Company, Division of Buffalo-Eclipse Corporation. Mr. Grawe was born in Johnsburg and had been a resident of North Tonawanda for the past 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, nee Riedel. He was the father of Mrs. Earl Janowsky, Allan, William, Mrs. Carlton Reitch, Herman Jr. and Mrs. Frank Alliger III; brother of Edward of Johnsburg, George of Nashville, Philippineslip, Benjamin and Walter of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Charles Neuman and Mrs. Ruth Pieper. Ten grandchildren also survive. Services will be Tuesday in the family residence at 2 P.M. and in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 2:30 P.M. The Rev. Paul H. Fretthold will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery.
