  Obituary: Tonawanda News Dorettia R. (Heywang) Grawe, Age 80 of North Tonawanda, Monday, March 24, 2003 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late William B. Grawe; dear mother of Nelwyn (Jeffrey) Adams of Rochester, NY, Ronald (Christine) Grawe of Lewiston, and Donald (Karen) Grawe of Venice, CA; grandmother of Kelley, Amee, Melinda, Jerry, Shannon, Ian and Keenan; great-grandmother of 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law of Marie Reich of Tonawanda and Hilda Grawe of the Town of Wheatfield; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Grawe was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was an elementary school teacher at St. John Lutheran School for 25 years and was also a teacher at St. Matthew Lutheran School. Friends may call at FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM from St. John Lutheran Church in the Town of Wheatfield. The Rev. Ronald Oravec will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or Niagara Hospice.
