Mary L. Reich, age 80, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on May 14, 2024.
Mary retired as a Registered Nurse from Erie County Medical Center. She worked on the psychiatric unit. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend. She loved to spend her time reading and shopping. She will be missed by many close friends.
She was the loving wife of William Reich. Mother of the late Allan Jarrett. Daughter of the late Addison and Carrie Hinton. Sister of the late Katie Lawson, Fr. Frederick M. Hinton, the late Addison Hinton, Jr., the late Ronnie L. Hinton, Theresa Greene. Aunt to Chaunci Hinton-Thomas, Raquel Hinton, Hope Williams, Leonard Hart, Clifford Greene, Bethany Scibetta, Rachael Mayer. Sister-in-law to John (Sue) Reich. Special friend of Heather, James and Jake Kushniruk. Also survived by great-nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Fretthold and Hamp funeral Home, located at 37 Adam Street, in Tonawanda, on Monday, May 20th from 4pm-8pm. A funeral service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 107 Scott Street, Tonawanda, NY 14150, on May 21st, beginning at 10:30am. In lieu of sending flowers, please make memorial donations to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hospice of Erie County, or to a charity of your choice.
