avenue, receives lacerations when
car driven by Adams skids and
hits telephone pole at Hyde Park
boulevard and Wltmer avenue.

NIAGARA FALLS, Sept. 17. -.
One youth was fatally injured, another
hurt critically, and nine other
persons recevled minor injuries In
week-end automobile accidents here.
The dead youth was Richard
Bam, twenty years old, of 1641
Michigan Avenue, a clerk in the office
of the Niagara Falls Gazette.
He died in Memorial hospital of a
skull fracture two hours) after *
machine in which he was riding
crashed into a telephone pole at
Hyde Park Boulevard and College
Avenue, early yesterday.
Ervina Prake, same age, 1626 Niagara
Avenue, also a passenger In
the car, is in a critical condition at
Memorial hospital, suffering from a
skull fracture.
The ear was driven by John
Adams of 2254 Weston Avenue; who
was treated at the same hospital
for face lacerations and body abrasions.
Adams told police that the car
skidded and that the rear end swung
around into the telephone pole.
Coroner W. L. Draper is investigating.
Young Bartz is survived by his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph
Bartz and two sisters, Alberta and
Violet.
