- Mrs. Marilyn Baum
Sanborn - Mrs. Marilyn Louis (sic) Baum, 41, of 6174 Walmore Road, died today (Feb. 20, 1973) after being stricken with an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Baum was the wife of the Rev. Harold L. Baum, pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church here.
She was a native of Maplewood, NJ and had resided in Youngstown, OH where she was a Christian Day school teacher. Mrs. Baum lived in Pittsburgh, Pa. From 1960 to 1970 prior to coming to Sanborn with her husband who became pastor of St. Peter's Church at the time,.
She was a fifth and sixth grade school teacher at St. Peter's also was music director at the school.
Mrs. Baum was the choir director of St. Peter's Church and was a member of the American Lutheran Church Women of St. Peter's. She also was a member of the American Guild of Organists, Niagara Falls Chapter.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Mark and Paul Baum and a daughter Carolyn Ruth Baum, all at home; her mother Mrs. Thelma Ramsey of Youngstown, OH and a brother William Ramsey of Harriman TN.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8 P.M. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Spieler, dean of the Western area, Eastern District of the American Lutheran Church and the rev. Herman Bassler of Trinity Old Lutheran Church of Amherst officiating. Burial will take place Friday in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Youngstown Ohio.
Friends may call at Rhoney Funeral Home 5893 Hoover Road from 2 to 5 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday and 2 to 4 P.M. Thursday.
The family said contributions can be made to St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund as tributes.

(sic) Interment in the Forest lawn Cemetery, Youngstown, OH. The Family will be present at the Rhoney Funeral Home 5893 Hoover Road from 2 to 5 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday and 2 to 4 P.M. Thursday. If preferred memorials may be made to the St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
