  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 2/11/1922 August Belling, one of the early s e t t l e r s in the M a r t i n s v i l l e section of N o r t h T o n a w a n d a , died this morn- ing at his home on on the Niagara Falls b o u l e v a r d . Mr, Belling was born in G e r m a n y 73 years ago. At the a g e of six months he came to America with h i s p a r e n t s , Who s e t t l e d in Martinsville. He c o n t i n u e d his home t h e re d u r i n g the rest of his life Mr. Belling is s u r v i v e d by his wife, a d a u g h t e r , Mrs. Emil Lein, two s o n s . G. C. C. Belling and Henry Belling, f o u r t e e n g r a n d c h i l d r e n , a brother, C h a r l e s Belling, and a s i s t e r , Mrs. Mary Wurl, all of North T o n a w a n d a. T h e f u n e r a l will be h e l d T u e s d a y af t e r n o o n at 2 o'clock from the late resid e n c e and half an hour later from t h e St. M a r t i n s church. Rev. Theo. Brener officiating. Burial will be in t h e St. M a r t i n ' s cemetery.
