  Niagara Falls Gazette WIENKE-At Bergholtz, N. Y., July 6th, 1936, Hugo Wienke, Sr., age 46, son of Albert Wienke. Funeral from the home in Bergholtz Wednesday at 2:30, Daylight Saving Time, and 3 o'clock from St. James Lutheran church, Rev. Otto Bruss officiating. Interment In St. James cemetery. Bergholtz. N. Y. ALSO Niagara Gazette - 7/10/1936 BERGHOLTZ. July 10-The funeral services for Hugo Wienke. which were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home and at 3 o'clock from St. James church, were largely attended. The Rev. Otto Bruss officiated. Several members of the American Iieglon post of Sanborn attended as the deceased, who was 45 years old. was a World war veteran. The firing squad from Fort Niagara fired over the grave and blew taps at the St James cemetery, where burial took place. The flower tributes were many and beautiful.
