Ex-Sanborn resident once owned Wis. Farm
Ethel A (Plautz) Bohl, 90, of St. Mary's Manor, formerly of Sanborn, died Wednesday (Aug. 5, 1998) at Mount St, Mary's Hospital in Lewiston
She was born Feb 9, 1908, in Chase, Wis., the daughter of Edward and Clara (Schwartz) Plautz. She lived in Chase most of her life.
She and her husband of 45 years, George Bohl, owned a farm in Sampson, WI. After retiring from the farm, the couple moved to Abrams Wis. Where they lived for three years. After her husband died in Aug 1976, she moved to Sanborn to live with her daughter, Carol M. Pfohl. For the past five years she had lived in St. Mary's Manor.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Abrams.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a sister, Evelyn Plautz of Chicago, four grandchildren, two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Harold Plautz and Edwin Plautz.
Visitation will be held from 2 -4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Wheatfield. Where the Rev. Bruce Gamaché will conduct a prayer service at 8:45 p.m. Visitation will also be from 4 - 7 p.m. Monday in Calvary Lutheran Church, Abrams, where services will follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Abrams.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Wheatfield or to Calvary Lutheran Church Abrams.
