Lucille D. Mante (DiMarco), age 79, of Bergholz, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 while at the Crestwood Health Care Facility, after a lengthy illness. Born in Buffalo, Erie County, NY on March 21, 1929 to the late Pasquiale and Carmela (Colangelo) DiMarco. She was united in marriage to the late David R. Mante on September 27, 1947, who died November 4, 2004. Lucille was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz and a former member of the Bergholz Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.Survivors include two children, Robert Mante and Sharon (Samuel) Chambos, both of Wheatfield; a sister, Therese Gena-Setticase of Syracuse; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Connie Sileo and Delores Nasca.Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-7:30 PM. Services will be conducted in the funeral home at 7:30 PM, following visitation, with Rev. Gregory Beutel, officiating. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran School, or a charity of ones choice
