- Harry DeBan Life story
Harry Michael DeBan, of Niagara Falls, NY, age of 71, passed away on August 28, 2024. Born on May 18, 1953 in Savannah, GA, he was the son of the late Harry G. and Jeannette (Faddoul) DeBan.
Harry Michael was active in Boy Scouts his entire life, achieving the honors of Eagle Scout and the Silver Beaver award. He also sat on the board of directors for Old Fort Niagara and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Harry Michael is survived by siblings, Marsha (Sylvester) Smith III, Denis (Marion) DeBan, Gary DeBan, Armand DeBan, Cynthia (Thomas) Falzone and Donna (Joseph) Maggard and nieces and nephews, Derek, Josuha, Krysta, Kara, Kyle, Brent, Keith, Kasey and Kelsey. A special thank you to his best friends, Marty and Marybeth Abramson and to our “brother” David Aramini, who cared for him on a daily basis. Besides his parents, Harry Michael was predeceased by sisters, Deborah J. (Brent) Haseley and Karen E. DeBan.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, from 3-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). Harry Michael’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 31st, at 12:00 p.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Mario Racho serving as celebrant. Family and friends invited. Private interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with his family.
