- D. E. Decker, DuPont Aide, Dies at 46
Donald E. Decker, 46, of 1017 90th St., a training instructor for the DuPont Co., died Monday (April 7, 1958) at Memorial Hospital. Born in Portland. Ore., Mr. Decker was employed by DuPont for the last 26 years. Mr. Decker lived in Bergholtz for 10 years and in this city for the last 12 years. He was a member of the DuPont Professional Assn., the company's 25-year club and was a past president of the DuPont Foremen Club, Mr. Decker was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elfrieda Decker; a son, Ronald Paul Decker, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude A. Decker, Buffalo; two brothers, Carleton T. Decker, Town of Tonawanda; and Norman R. Decker, Lutz, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Lask, Town of Tonawanda. Funeral services will be hdd at the Lane Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday and at St. James Church at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ernest Dietz officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
