  Charles A. Berds III, 71, of Lockport, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Charles Jr. and Yolanda (Passero) Berds. Charles was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and obtained his Associate’s degree from Niagara County Community College. He was active in the Lewiston community where he formerly worked as a Licensed Real Estate Broker for many years.   Charles is survived by his children, Melody Louise (Berds) Dufrane and Charles A. Berds IV; his siblings, Susan (Robert) Farwell, Donald (Ann Stockdale) Berds, Andrea (Gary) Ireland and Christine (Rich) Dambra, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles’ Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 11:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY 14092. Interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the American Heart Association at heart.org.
