  Niagara Gazette - 10/14/1957 NORTH TONAWANDA-Mrs. Katherine Altmayer, 84, of 160 Stenzel St., died Sunday (Oct. 13, 1957) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Proefrock, where she resided. In addition to her daughter, surviving are a son. Jack Altmayer, and another daughter, Mrs. Harold Jedele, all of" this city, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Fretthold Funeral Home, followed by Requiem Mass at 10 o'clock at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in Sweeney Cemetery.
