  Laurie's Obituary Laurie Jane Luick, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, died on January 31, 2025 in Elderwood at Williamsville.  She was born in Niagara Falls on March 13, 1951, a daughter of Fred and Jane (Service) Luick. Laurie received her science degree from Houghton College and her master’s degree in teaching from Niagara University.  She was employed as a substitute teacher for many years with the Niagara Falls Board of Education.    She was a member of the O.E.S. Flagler Chapter; a lifelong member of Riverside Presbyterian Church; the Rainbow Singers.  She enjoyed crafts, especially needlepoint.  She also enjoyed traveling with her friends, musicals and dogs, especially her English Setters. Friends may call Friday after 11:30 AM, where members of the O.E.S. will conduct services at 12 noon followed by Pastor Laura Norris Buisch.  The interment will be private.
