  NF Gazette Amanda Mielke PEKIN - Mrs. Amanda Mielke, 80, of Upper Mountain Road, died today (March 22, 1979) in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. She was a native of Bergholtz and had resided in Pekin for the past 62 years. She was the wife of the late Elmer Mielke who died in 1965. She was a member of St. Andrews Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Altar Guild of the church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Marian) Ellman, Mrs. David (Norma) Stoltzenberg and Mrs. Marvin ( Phyllis) Stoelting, of Pekin; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Donald Mielke. There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Albert H. Gaal officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family said contributions to the Lutheran Service Society will be acceptable as tributes. Arrangements are being made by the Rhoney Funeral Home.
